Good protection for your investment
Must have if you have a Tesoro. Keeps the controls clean and dry.

Awesome machine
The 8" coil will go far deeper than any VLF in the salt. I thought about getting the larger coil but that seems pointless since the 8" goes deeper than I can scoop in the surf.
Machine is really stable with no falsing . I thought I would have trouble with hot rocks but that doesn't seem to be the case. The only downside with a PI is if there is a lot of iron bits you really can't discriminate them out but you can usually tell by the size of the signal area if your hitting a small target vs a spike can etc. Just takes a little practice.
