Works great! Brought new life to an old set of Uniden FRS walkie talkies
I had a set of Uniden FRS walkie talkies that were about 8 - 9 years old. The batteries were shot so I tried these and they seemed to work well. Let them charge 24 hours and then turned them on. Everything seems good!

Acer Aspire 5 Laptop - Extremely pleased!!
I purchased my Acer Aspire 5 Laptop from Acer's eBay store as an eBay Refurbished / Recertified computer. It is indistinguishable from a brand new laptop and looks perfect. My configurations has the 11th series Intel i3 processor and 4 GB RAM. My needs are pretty basic: web activity, email, and office-type applications. I am not a gamer and I don't run any CPU-intensive programs. The speed of this laptop is great. Everything runs fast and smooth. I wanted an i5 processor, but for this price, I figured I would try it. I have no qualms at all about the i3 processor. Compared to my desktop running an older i7 processor, it is as fast as that for everything I am doing.
The HD 1080 screen is fantastic. Most laptops in this price range have a lower resolution screen. This screen is great and I love that I can see more on the screen due to it being a 1080 screen.
For those of you who are inclined to do your own upgrades, this laptop is super-easy to upgrade. The factory RAM is soldered to the motherboard, so there is only 1 DIMM slot. I added an 8 GB RAM module in a matter of minutes. It is very, very easy to do on this laptop.
Likewise for the HD. The main HD is a NVME SSD drive that is easily accessible next to the RAM. I am going to upgrade it to at last a 256GB NVME SSD soon. The other really nice thing about this laptop is there is a provision for a second HD. Acer supplies the cradle and screws for you to add a 2.5 inch drive very easily. When I upgrade the NVME drive I will probably add an SSD drive for additional storage. Everything is right there when you open the bottom of the case, so any of these updates will take just a few minutes.
Overall I am super-pleased with this laptop. This is my second Acer Refurbished purchase and I see myself coming back again in the future. Well done, Acer!
