Inconsistent results
Shorter static grass 2 mm works great. Longer grass 7mm gets varied results. Best I could come up with was not using the cast foot, but attaching a short piece of wire to the alligator clip and wave it under the unit while depositing the grass gave better results.

Good value for the price
Works as expected, could produce a bit more distortion with max settings. Decent value for the price.
