This fuel sediment bowl looks and works just like the original one on my Cub Cadet 122. I worked it all day the day I got it

Why have baskets in a cloner?
The 2” neoprene inserts only fit into the net cups/baskets which limits the length of the stem to 2” below the lid. If you try to follow the directions that come with the machine, the inserts fall through the holes. One way around this design flaw is to cut off the baskets. Before roots start growing into them and getting tangled beyond hope.
Or make your own lid and cut the holes smaller.

This is the most informative book I have found for using pre diamond wheel cabbing machines
The book is “Dated”. Cheap artificial diamonds have changed lapidary machines and technology completely in the last 40 years. Classes, books, utube videos, and discussion groups will usually help you learn to use the new diamond equipment, but to try it the “Old Way” this book has the best instructions available. If you obtain an old ‘60s or ‘70s machine, buy this book.
