Works well for a generic cheap alternative. Supports Surface Pro Original too. No problems so far
I initially bought this just for the power cord - I had purchased an official Microsoft charger for Surface Pro 2 (even though I'm Surface Pro but they're interchangeable) off eBay for $AU25 but was missing the power cord and hoped this cheapie would replace it - it did. The power cord fits into the official chargers and works in Australian sockets just fine.
I also used just this whole package to charge (with no MS components). For the price I'd say it's pretty good. It's not as easy to plug it in to the side of the tablet as the original MS chargers, but it does the job. Also, I've seen reports on eBay that cheap generic ones can disable the touch screen and sometimes even the touchpad on the keyboard while charging - so far I've not had EITHER of those problems using this cheaper generic model.
I'd even recommend giving it a try for your sole Surface charger if you can't find (or don't want to find) a second hand official MS one.
Another thing you could try if it gives you problems is to buy this (or one of the generic car chargers etc) off ebay.....anything to just get the plug that goes directly into the tablet. You could then carefully splice open the cable, and replace the plug that has stopped working on your old official MS charger, solder the wires together and presto - you should in theory have an official MS charger adaptor/box but with a new working plug into your tablet (there are tutorials online to attempt this).
So I've got two backup chargers now for less than 50 bucks! I'll use the second hand official MS one until the plug stops working as the connection wires at the plug get too bent (as they do... design flaw. This is my third charger now) then I've always got this unit as another backup!

Skin looks and feels amazing. Great serum
14 of 14 found this helpful This is an amazing serum and the price - WOW. My skin is brighter, firmer and with improved tone. It really does feel great. I'm going to buy more and use it on my chest and arms as well. I have very pink/red skin on my face and this has reduced that noticeably, and that's with me starting to use AHAs/BHAs which flame my skin up and it STILL looks better than it used to. It's supposed to boost collagen production, contains goodies like Niacinamide, Adenosine and Allantoin as well.
Thicker serums can clog my pores and lead to whiteheads, this does not. It has a very thin almost liquid texture and it absorbs very quickly and easily. Like another user here, I recommend using more than the recommended 2-3 drops. I use a couple of droppers full for face and neck.
I've also noticed that it helps my moisturiser absorb better. I hated the COSRX oil-free moisturiser when I first got it, it left tacky residue for hours and hours but since using this serum twice a day in conjunction - perfect absorption and my skin is quite matte. Extra bonus!
Because of its repairing, anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties and because it doesn't break me out and helps with my sensitive skin, I'd say this is good or all skin types - from dry skin to problem skin like mine. Highly recommended.
P.S. I think this comes in an eyecream too I remember seeing somewhere. Might be worth giving that a try too!

Outstanding HG sunscreen that ticks every box

High protection, combination of physical and chemical filters, fragrance and alcohol free so excellent for sensitive skin and feels fantastic on the skin. It leaves no white cast that I can see, is excellent under makeup and extremely lightweight. Moisturising, yet not greasy or sticky feeling. Dries more slowly than high alcohol Japanese sunscreens, but still extremely fast compared many others. It has a bit of a glossy finish (perhaps where the Mermaid comes from in the name) but that's visual, not textural as it is quite matte on the skin. The bottle is small and I wish it were bigger, but it is a convenient and elegant size for the purse or bag for reapplying and I use cheaper sunscreens on the body anyway and reserve this for my face as is my practice with any cosmetically elegant formula. It works out to be nearly twice the price of comparable Australian facial "drugstore" sunscreens when you consider product amount but I'm more than happy to pay it as it is so much better.
