Disappointed in the lukewarm feeling and the shortness of book for price

I bought this for two reasons. I just finished reading a book by her husband, that was loaned to me because I just became a widow this past year. I looked to find a copy of the book for myself, and saw her book also. I looked forward to reading the book of a Christian widow. I was pretty disappointed at how thin it was. For the price, it was a bad deal. His books can be found for about a third of the price of her books. And she didn't strike me as all that Christian in her written thoughts. She didn't seem to have a relationship with God or even much affection for her husband. My second reason (besides widowhood) was to get insight into his life. But it was really missing. Oh well. I should have looked at the number of pages listed before I spent that much money.

the only place I could buy this Clearasil

A guest left a bottle of this with us a year or two ago, and my daughter started using it. It finally ran out and she begged for more because it helped her skin so much. I could not find it in any of the local stores. The price seems high, but at lease we can get it. I know how important it is for a teen to get acne under control, so I bought it. We gave the second bottle to our friend, who happened to be back in town for a few weeks, since we used her other one up. I suppose the rarity of the product makes the price high. This makes my daughter's skin much clearer than not using it.

This book will inspire you to delight in God, too.

This book is a nice starting point for personal Bible study. As I read his statements, I look up the key words or concepts in my concordance and find all the verses I can that support his statements. Just having the book with it's joyful title on my nightstand is an encouragement to my soul. Mr. Keller really loved the Lord and that love inspires us to love Him, too. The title comes from Psalms 37:4, which says, "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." It also goes with Psalms 40:8, "I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart." The first verse really encouraged me after my husband went to be with the Lord at the age of 46. He delighted in God, too, and served him in many ways, especially telling others how to be saved so they could spend eternity with our God whom we delight in (John. 3:16) Mr. Keller points us to all the things around us that remind us of God and His goodness and deep love. I have not finished the book, but I look forward to slowly working my way through it and absorbing each idea. If you love God, you will enjoy this book. Use it as a Bible study and learn to delight in God.
