Good acting,Poor script.Insults viewers intelligence.Most episodes enjoyable.Highlight JulieNewmar.
My Living Doll, 1964: Acting is good. Writing overall is terrible credited to DESILU Productions. Throughout these episodes Rhoda, the robot is gullible to suggestions by anyone who talks to her. Bad Premise. NO CODE to initiate programming for her! Re: unaired ep. Does anyone in 1964 realize a blood test/waiting period is required pre-marriage? Later on I Dream of Jeanie & Bewitched (also '64) used magic or witchcraft to get out of ludicrous circumstances. But once a stupid gag was pulled there was no trap door, ie. nowhere to go. Therefore I fully understand why it wasn't renewed. Julie Newmar, who describes it as her most challenging role, is the highlight & briefly gets to display her dancing talents. More appropriate story lines could have utilized her athletic ablities & obvious fitness, rather than merely focusing on her physical beauty. Extras include a 2 part radio interview of MS Newmar by Lucille Ball. Robert Cummings is credible as the psychiatrist & Jack Mullaney shines as Cummings' neighbor/coworker. Familiarity to other shows in a N.Y. setting. Even a musical OST is included.

Hotter than average, not just routine positions, great camera work.
Very hot overall. About half were anal scenes. Some exceptional close ups & deviated from the predictable routine postions . My first MVG purchase. Wouldn't mind checking out more, as this had very good camera work & erotic performers.

Great inteligent drama/subltle comedy, which my PBS won't play in sequence!!!!
Acorn Media, (didn't reply to my complaint), puts out a faultily designed hard plastic hinged case inevitably resulting in scratched discs. (I also believe these may be softer & even more vulnerable.) Of the complete 8 season plus 2 movies only 6 discs needed no cleaning. Paper sleeves would be a far superior storage medium. Note: The average consumer does not have a pro cleaner like I do, therefore would do a return as damaged goods. In the future when purchasing British shows I begrudgingly will opt for Region 2 DVDs, which obviously require a REGION FREE player.
