Funk and Soul Covers a must have for the avid collector of funk and soul on record!

If you LOVE funk and r&b on vinyl the way I do this is the book for for you! Mainstream releases as well as the rare and obscure! Though the term 'mainstream' is misleading. Bands like Earth, Wind & Fire, Commodores whose music was everywhere selling out stadiums worldwide never appeared on any of the big magazine covers of the day. Take that Rolling Stone!! I still spin my cherished records every chance I get and the book knows the feeling! Great photos/pictures throughout and well researched text! I dug the hard rockers as well but the 60s and the 70s was a time when everbody didn't sound like everyone else and my ears are all the richer for it! Lots of music featured in this lush volume I still have, some I'd forgotten about but even more I couldn't afford back then. I was a teenager after all! It's published by Taschen so it's a tad pricey even for my aging pocketbook but a must have for the avid collector.

Amazing! Features one of the best imaginitive fight scenes of all ever! Rewatched five times straight!!

The Nevers ...Easily THE most entertaining fantasy television series I've seen in years! I was a struggle not to binge watch the whole thing! I'm quite the anglophile still there were many well known British actors I was unaware of. Stellar performance all around with cinematic production values! I jumped in feet first having only seen a trailer on youtube! I'm hooked! I hope HBO ponies up for another season!
