Nagaoka Replacement Stylus Jn-P150 For Mp-150 Official New

Sound quality GOOD, longevity NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!
So the sound quality is great and far more superior to other needles/cartridges in it's price range - HOWEVER... early in it's 5th month, sound quality quickly deteriorated to the point where this needle was unusable! VERY disappointing for the price. It's also worth a mention that I only played CLEAN and HEALTHY records with this needle AND I also kept it very clean and free of dirt and dust, and still, 5 months was the farthest this needle would go. On a scale of 1-10, I give the Nagaoka MP-150 an 8 for overall sound quality and a VERY generous 5 for overall build quality and longevity!

Easier loading of the tape would be a good place to start to make this product better.

Love this record clamp. A bit over priced, but an excellent product!
I've had this record clamp for a couple of years now and it's really a great additive for getting better sound from my LP's. I didn't think it would make much of a difference but it does. Sound quality is more detailed and the bass is punchier. Although it's great for helping to "flatten" some of the more cheaper quality labels like K-Tel, Ronco, RCA Special etc, it's not so good for flattening out records that are more severely warped, but it will do just fine if the warping is just slight.
