Great for enthusiasts, but not for professional use.

Great camera for the enthusiast, but too slow and fiddly to operate for professional back-up use. IQ is superb, as is low light performance. I bought mine both as a professional back-up and for my personal use, but realised a small DSLR with prime lens was a btter idea - less frustrating and fiddly, and not much larger in my 'man bag'

Replacement that doesn't quite fit

I bough this for my new Chinese-made Telecaster. Great guitar for any money, but I didn't like the look of the black P90 covers with a white pickguard... looked a bit cheap. The pickguard isn't a precise fit - I needed to shave a few millimetres off around the bridge, to get it to fit - and even then some of the screw holes didn't line up exactly. Anyway, I'm good with DIY and general fettling, so it was no big deal - and it looks great... very Keef. Just be aware of these things if you buy one.

Sharp, low price, bargain for full frame

This lens punches well above its weight. Razor sharp on my D600 at all lengths and apertures and lovely colour rendition. Comparable in sharpness to my 50/85mm primes and slightly edging out the 24-120 f4 VR. Not fast enough for full-time professional use, but with VR it is the perfect walkabout/holiday lens.
