very bright
The flashlight takes 3 AA batteries where the smaller ones usually take AAA. It's very bright. I have colorful sneakers and some rocks I collected. Even holding it at chest level they glowed. IMO the range was much longer than I expected. If you are checking your toilet the range is about 3 to 4 feet, you shouldn't need to get any closer than that. For $6.95 this was an excellent deal.

they are too stretchy to work
the design and quality of materials is very good, but they stretch way too much to be useful at all. While a little stretch is good these stretch more than a rubber band. Because of that they just don't work as they should.

Solid and Huge just check local knife laws before walking around with it in your pocket
They seem very solid, open nicely for their size. There's a good amount of heft to them because of their size. Holding one in your hand really gives you an idea as to how long they really are. The blade is sharp enough, you can't shave with it but not sure why you would want to. I'm not sure a folding knife this big has any real practical uses, but they sure are cool.
