Different format than the original but works great!
This inverter replaces the inverter in a GE Profile clothes washer. The original style inverter must have had issues so GE replaced it with this one. Though the casing is completely different and mounts vertically it will mount in the same spot as the original, using the original screw.
I purchased mine as an "open box" item for half price. Probably someone purchased this and saw that it looks totally different than the one he was replacing and sent it back. No need to send it back. It fits and it works great!
See the pictures. The silver box is the original inverter. It was mounted in a horizontal fashion. The white one is the replacement. It mounts in the same location, but vertically.
