Solar Charger
1 of 1 found this helpful This 10w Solar array and regulator is very good value for money. I bought it to keep the car battery topped up whilst away for an extended period. I did some quick tests and in moderate sunlight I was seeing 330ma flowing into the battery with the regulator in circuit. Given that the theoretical max output of the solar panel is half an amp or so (500ma) I'm quite happy with the output I was getting. Certainly a lot better value for money than all of the solar panels sold for the purpose I'm using this for. All in all, very pleased

FireAngel SCB 10
Well constructed, easy to fit and also suitable for use on a boat, which was what I wanted. With a 10 year battery life, has to be a win win.
