This Will Prevent Most Phone Slippage
Sadly I purchased this because my wife had already "tossed" her S7-Edge several times inadvertently of course, but still. I was originally concerned with the screen protection only, so I just got one of those. Bad move........... although in the screen protector's defense, it worked! All the cracks that appeared to be on the screen were on the protector. However, some of the phone corners looked pretty bad, so I went looking around for something with more overall protection, and this I think is it. The wife complains about some kind of funky glare when she's outside with the phone with this protector, but hey, it's better than not having it.

Long Battery Life-5G-Plenty of RAM: What's NOT to Like??
1 of 1 found this helpful I fully expected this phone to be kind of ....... meh, and not much else due to LG getting out of the smart phone business. I was quite surprised, on the good side, that this phone has as many features as it does. I can't really rate the camera(s), as I'm not much of a photographer in any sense, but the battery - LOVE IT! Only small con is that it's not user replaceable, but when the battery lasts about 4 days between charges, then YES, cannot hate on that. I saw some grief about the "notch" but it's so small and doesn't seem to be any kind of issue at all. I had an LGv20 I was moving from, so the new wireless charging feature is totally thumbs up! Even the on screen finger print thing is pretty decent versus the one on the LGv20. I heard complaints about the speaker phone or maybe just the speakers, but I'm not getting that, I have very good sound quality. What totally blows my mind is the speed of the updates, meaning when your apps update, my previous experience is that if you have lots of apps, and who doesn't - each app seems to take forever to download/install during the updates. Well, with the 5G network, it seems like most apps take less than 30 seconds to download AND install. Amazing! I guess the newer chips and extra RAM don't hurt either. Also love that this phone accepts MicroSDXC and I was using a 512GB one in the LGv20, so I just moved it over, no problems. This phone arrived with Android 10, but after getting it onto the Verizon network, the next day it was updating to Android 11 and additional security updates. Almost all my apps ported over successfully from the LG app that copy/moves from your old phone to the new one. All in all, this has been one of the most rewarding purchases for me, and I'm still learning new and useful things about this phone.

Good Volume/Sound; Need Extra Steps to Set Up Any Add On Phones
0 of 2 found this helpful I've set up numerous cordless handsets of varying brands/models, but this is the first time EVER that I've had to go through a menu on the main phone in order to "register" the add on phone. The instructions did explain it and I was able to get it to work - however, every other cordless phone system I've worked with DID NOT REQUIRE any additional menu/button pushing to get the add on phone to register. All I've done with the past phone systems is plug in the main unit, wait for it to "register", then plug in the add on phone(s), and that's it. Not sure why this Panasonic KX-TGM450S requires all the extra steps to get the add on working, but thankfully, the phone's features are worth it; had to install this system in a relative's home due to their hearing issues, and now don't have to yell over the phone for them to hear.
