Paul Mccartney Paintings by McCartney, Paul Hardback Book The Fast Free Shipping
    Jun 21, 2021
Works well for this long-time fan...
Disclaimer: I'm a die-hard Beatle fan, specifically Sir Macca. As a musician, the works he's done where he's playing most, if not all, of the instruments by himself have inspired me beyond measure over the years. (That said, i realize his musical output over the decades may be a bit "uneven" by most folk's standards.) I suppose i got this mainly for the sake of completion. Like probably a lot of fans, I had no idea Paul painted. I also have a book of his sheet music of some of his favorite tunes that contains a pen-on-paper sketch for each song. Somehow his sketches and paintings, being of two different mediums, seem as apples & oranges to me. There may very well be a song or two from Paul's solo output that i've not heard yet, however this book of paintings feels like it rounds out my current set of "all things Macca"... Incidentally, in my same order i also got a copy of Yoko's "Grapefruit" (a recent hardcover reissue/reprint). Currently these two books are sitting together on a little stand in the "art room" of our house; when inspiration is lacking, just taking a casual look through either book gets our creative juices flowing....
    Roland Fantom-X6 Keyboard Synthesizer
    Jun 04, 2021
a worthy & welcome addition to my plethora of workstations
Since seeing the video for the song "Abacab" by Genesis on a then-new MTV back in 1981, i've been amassing a wealth of keyboard workstations. The Roland Fantom X6 reminds me of when i got out of the Army and bought my first Ensoniq EPS sampling workstation -- it is super-intuitive to create full-blown musical works from just this one synthesizer. All of the buttons are where i'd expect them to be, and the O.S. is robust and well thought out. You can read the specifications elsewhere; suffice to say this 'board stands right up there with my other fave workstations (e.g., Alesis Fusion, various Ensoniq kit, Korg KARMA, Trinity, Roland Juno-DS, Yamaha EX-5...) I'm really glad i sprang for this one! Your particular needs may differ of course, but IMHO there is something wonderful to be found for just about anyone within this delightful piece of gear.
Panda Portable Mini Compact Countertop Washing Machine Washer 5.5lbs XPB25-28A
    Oct 26, 2015
Does what it says on the tin...
Maybe my title should rather be "Does what it says on the cardboard box / eBay ad". ;) I've worked from home for almost five years now and share a floor of a large house with a roommate. For us, this thing is perfect. It may not be as nice or have as large a capacity as the Haier 21N(?) portable washer that had broken down on us, but it does just what it is sold to do and we certainly have no complaints. ^_^ As far as the capacity goes, i tend to do two or three medium-ish towels for one load or maybe a load of "one pair of jean" as the ad puts it, right along with a pair or two of thick, wooly socks. Other than not overloading it, I've found the worst thing one could do is use too much detergent as it'll take many, many rinse cycles to get it all back out of the clothes. (I just eyeball it myself, hence the mistake i guess.) One thing of particular note: When i first un-boxed the washer i had a real time of trying to figure out where to put it -- i was really perplexed, lol -- even going so far as to build a quick little stand for it where we had been using our previous portable clothes washer so it'd be near to a drain but eventually i realized the absolute best place was in one of the two tubs in our kitchen's stainless steel sink(s). Fortunately the sink seems sturdy and well-built. This thing rattles around a bit and when i run it on a real quiet afternoon it almost feels like it's shaking the house a little. So i never really run it past 9 or 10pm, myself.
