Just suck it up and buy a Magpul.
It will work on the castle nut once you grind a fair bit of material out of it's profile. After modification it did eventually do what it was made to do, so I won't blast it completely. Should have just bought the Magpul wrench, since I'll end up buying one anyways. Not really a waste of money though, I'll keep this one in a range bag just in case since it is quite compact.

Surprisingly nice leather cord.
I honestly wondered if it would even be real leather for the price I paid. Happily, it appears to be vegetable-tanned top-grain leather. The dark, slightly mottled brown color in the picture accurately represented what I got, which is always nice.

Another surprisingly robust part (for cheap!) from UTG.
2 of 2 found this helpful Using this riser to get a red dot up and away from the action, as well as to provide access to the open sights. Leapers/U.T.G. hasn't given me any reason to spend more money on other brands for risers, adapters and mounts. Fit and finish are excellent: no manu. defects/dings in the aluminum and it has strong, even anodizing.
