iPod Touch 6th Generation 32GB - Very nice!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I never wanted an iPhone, but was always curious about their functionality. Well, I finally bought this iPod Touch and it is very nice. I was also trying to use an older iPod Classic in a new Subaru Legacy Sport, and the classic operation was very poor and I was disappointed with the audio system of the Subaru, I thought!!!! Well, the Touch works GREAT in my new Subaru and the audio is excellent. The audio was very important to me. I've yet to learn all the options and features, but I am very happy I bought one of these, finally ;)

This device encrypts your data on to the drive, you may well lose it!!!!!
5 of 5 found this helpful PLEASE be aware that the data that is written to this disk drive is encrypted!!!! I have used these products for years and it wasn't until I had a recent failure that I discovered that the data can not be read normally on the drive due to the encryption done by a PDB board that acts as the interface to power and the USB port.
I had almost 3TBs of critical data that would have been lost except that I finally found a program that was able to recover the "lost" partition of the drive and I had to buy an external drive caddy once I removed the drive from the My Book enclosure to be able to slowly recover my data and transfer it to another drive.
I really like WD drives, but these external My Book products can mean that you either lose all your data when that PDB board fails, or that you have to pay someone to restore/recover your data. In my case, I finally got all my data back but it cost me money for the SW and caddy, as well as lots of time and stress.
So, be careful and I hope you never go through what I just did with a failed My Book. BTW, I had two fail with a month, so that isn't good odds!!

SP-404SX: Great Sampler By Roland, So Much Fun!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I am an electronic sound designer. I sold off an older Korg sampler and then missed having one. I researched and found this SP-404SX. It has just the right amount of control over the sounds and has an amazing 29 effects to warp and alter sounds that you import. The pads feel very good and the colors are nice on the eyes ;) It supports up to a 32GB SD card, so you can keep up to about 48 hours of sounds on the SD card and then import them into banks and pads on the sampler. If you don't want to get an MPC, then this is a very good choice for a very nice hardware sampler. Oh, and it also comes with some simple software to import sounds into the various pads within the banks, which is helpful.
