Gets better and better the longer you play it, FRUSTRATINGLY REWARDING, fresh and novel experience!!!
MASTERPIECE and NOVEL!
I will say at the beginning I almost threw the game out I was so frustrated with some of the mechanics, and gameplay. But about 10 hrs into the game it started to become fun, and something amazing happened, I started winning. All the struggle was starting to pay off and I was more confident and started to see the beauty in the game.
If you want an easy to play trite narrative buy another game. If you want a CHALLENGING and truly rewarding gaming experience, then run out and BUY THIS GAME. I promise that if you put in the time and effort in it WILL PAY OFF! Just stick with it, and don't give up especially before you have at lease put in 20hrs!
A few tips, learn ALCHEMY, HERBALISM, LOCKPICKING as soon as possible! Lockpicking will seem impossible at first but just like the rest of the game stick with it. In no time it will be easy as pie! Good luck, and enjoy!

One of the BEST GAMES I have ever played!! Fantastice Single Player Narrative based games!!!
2 of 4 found this helpful Compelling story, Loveable character, fantastice world, and no need for grinding! I put off buying this game for 6 months because I thought it was going to be feminist claptrap garbabe, man was I wrong. It does have some of those elements in the game, it is afterall built in a matriarchal world. Even with these elements present the story and the main character overshadow these flaws. Aloy is a very likeable character who you become endeared to in the beginning of the story. It is a must play for any player who likes narrative based single player games!
