Antenna - A steal at $4
1 of 1 found this helpful I was talked into buying this CD by my brother and he was right, ZZ TOP sounds great on this CD. The songs were not their most popular songs, but they are very good and it is nice to listen to the stuff that didn't hit mainstream. I always have a little problem understanding their lyrics, but ZZ Top is all about the sound of the Reverend and Gibbons does not disappoint here. I got this CD for a buck plus 3 for shipping, so it was a very good investment. I might not buy it for $18, but for $4, it's a no-brainer. Give it a listen.

Happiness, yeah, happiness
The footage is awesome, like being on-stage with the master, Jimi Hendrix. I loved the close-ups of Jimi picking and fingering, but lots of wasted film on non-jimi musicians like a dorky bongo drummer and some wasted hippies. The second look DVD is not as good, but there are a few captured moments of interest that were not on the first dvd. Jimi's Star-Spangled Banner is still a classic and back-to-back with Purple Haze? It really is worth the $12 or whatever just for that. If you are a Hendrix fan or an aspiring guitar player, this DVD is a good choice. This is not a great Woodstock documentary, but Woodstock was all about the music and Hendrix rocked.

You should watch at least once in your life.
There were a couple of hick-ups where the video stopped, skipped but not too bad and I did buy it used. Basically, a good buy. The movie itself is a classic, but many scenes are very dark, not in subject matter, but literally hard to see kind of dark.
