Bright, brighter, brightest
The music stand light is brighter than any other stand light that I have, which I why I like it. I also like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery and gives the option of using either a cool white light or a simulated natural daylight. Note that only half of the LEDs can be used at any give time.

Trumpet enhanced with French horn mouthpiece
I bought the adapter as an experiment in using my French horn mouthpiece on my Bach Stradivarius trumpet. Although shorter in length than my trumpet mouthpieces, it made the trumpet slightly more flat. That is not a problem unless the tuning slide is already in as far as it goes. The horn mouthpiece lowered the overall volume of the trumpet, took off the trumpet's bright edge and attack, making it sound remarkably like a cornet. The surprising good result was that the trumpet's low register became more full and resonant than on any other trumpet mouthpiece that I own. Lip flexibility was also improved as well as the potential to play pianissimo. The upper register was not similarly enhanced, but the range was not compromised either.

Not enough point
The tip of the screw starter is blunt rather than pointed. It is useful if the wood is quite soft and even then it requires a good bit of pressure to get the hole started.
