Beautiful, and utterly unique!
I saw this watch for the first time six months ago in an online jeweler's ad. Let's just say it made an impression -- I'd never seen anything like it before! It was love at first sight; a watch paying tribute to a nuclear age submarine, yet incorporating art deco elements. It was a work of art that boldly screamed for attention, the opposite of what this conservative lawyer was generally drawn to. It was larger than life. Hell, it was well north of $3000! I loved it, but I neither would or could wear it. But then I say it again here, at the price of a Bulova, and I bought it.
It's huge, really huge, and makes me feel like a 4 year old wearing his Dad's watch, but it does fit. I don't yet know how often I'll wear it, but I'm so happy I have it as it's even more beautiful than it looks in pictures.

Elegant & Striking!
I have a weakness for really nice, unique watches, and Bulova is hands down my overall favorite manufacturer. To me, they just exude quality, but that alone doesn't win my loyalty -- there are plenty of firms making watches of such workmanship that they cost as much as a new car, but all too often these watches come with lots of prestige but no style. This watch is engineered and built beautifully, but I love it because it's also unique and striking. The blue, textured face is so beautiful, and the curved sapphire glass magnifies that beauty to the point that anyone within 100 feet is compelled to see it more closely! And the price is a steal, so won't regret your purchase.

Elegant watch!
Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. After combing through ads for literally thousands of watches, I knew instantly that this one was unique. The mother of pearl face is gorgeous and elegant, but the twin hearts symbols keep it from looking like an old lady's watch. She loves it even more than I did!
