Shouldn't be this good at this price!
I have 4 other electrics, each at much higher price points. This Chinese 50's Classic Vibe stands right up with them. I love it! Have guitars in all the basic food groups except a Tele, so I wanted to fill that slot without spending a lot until I knew if I liked it. I had not read a single review that did not praise the Classic Vibe out the ying yang. Now I know why. Fit, finish, hardware (LOVE the Alnico III pickups), classic Tele twang... it's all there. I see ZERO negatives except it says Squier instead of Fender on the headstock... you wouldn't know the difference without that dang decal.

Better than others
I couldn’t use the abalone dots I had on hand; needed this larger size. The ones I had on hand also included many which weren’t perfectly round; they had flat spots, making them unusable. I haven’t found ANY with this flaw in this new source. And there is a great selection of colorful/shiny without pitting. Love these!

A bargain, but do your own QC
A lot of the dots had no chatoyance; just plain white or whatever. Only a few were very very colorful. A few were flat on one edge, as if they were cut from a rectangle and some of the square edge remains. A few had little depressions along the surface. BUT: that's why you buy 100, to get a couple necks' worth. Summary: buy a batch, do you own quality control.
