Optima red top
Great product at the lowest price I could find. The shipping was fast too. The battery is strong and not as heavy as the factory battery. Optima claims it will last longer too, but I haven't had it long enough to validate that.

Better light output than you will get from a bulb upgrade.
I've tried a lot of different LED bulbs in these type of trunk lights. All of the LEDs in this unit are facing down so no wasted light. The color is a nice upgrade over the stock incandescent. Only time will tell if the LEDs are of good quality.

Wrong led orientation
1 of 1 found this helpful The filament on an h3 halogen is horizontal and the LEDs on this bulb are vertical. I also think that it would work better if the LEDs shined left to right instead of up and down. Or if there was the ability to turn them in the housing. I tried them in a projector housing. I think they would probably be better in a reflector housing.
