Midfake, Still great features and durability, almost like an authentic Takara Tommy.
2 of 2 found this helpful Unfortunately, this is an obvious midfake beyblade. The difference between midfakes and authentic Takara Tommy beyblades is that they are designed to be a replica of the original authentic Takara Tommy products. Midfakes have lower quality material used for the beys. The metal wheels are more shiny than they need to be and are made with different alloys. Most midfakes that use rubber parts are often replaced with hard plastic, like a midfake l-drago. So a midfake l-drago won't be able to spin steal. Most midfakes can still do mode changes and all that which is pretty awesome. Authentic Takara Tommy has the highest quality material used and are the real deal. Midfakes have excess plastic in their face bolts and sometimes on the energy rings. This can easily be fixed by just trimming it off with a knife. Also, most midfake Beyblades use the code "A0813" on the bottom of the box. This is just the date it was manufactured (A = day of month 08 = day 13 = year). HOWEVER, there are positives about a Beat lynx midfake. It can change between modes relatively easy. It's spin time is almost the same as a Takara Tommy beat lynx (2:15). All of this is pretty impressive for a midfake. I recommend buying midfakes if you plan to use them for battle and buying authentic ones for display purposes.
