Detailed and inexpensive model for your collection. Toy for a careful child. Not for throwing.

This is the best die-cast model of the F-35 that I have seen in this size class. It beats Maisto, Matchbox, and Hot Wings, which are pretty much just toys. At 1:144 scale, it is finely detailed. The only thing I would like to see is an optional landing gear set. As a toy, the twin plastic tailfins are breakable and may be ingested. The body is a durable die-cast metal. A careful and thoughtful child can appreciate it. It should never be thrown! Treat it like the fine little model it is. Did I point out that it is one of the least expensive models I have found?
