Stagg 12 Pair Maple Drumsticks Nylon Tip 5A

My students are breaking these sticks!

This is my first time using this product. I know these are inexpensive, but they should last a bit longer than one song. First of all, they are very light almost feel hollow. Tips came off within half a song and sticks broke way to easy from playing. I bought these for my students to use and when a 10 yr old is breaking sticks, not impressed. I had one break while doing rim shots. Maybe a bad batch? not sure, but I wont buy them again. Sorry Stagg for the review but these are a waste of money.

Nice sticks for the buck!

I play in a touring 80's tribute band and we do approx 40 shows a year and I use these sticks for a few reasons. First they are a awesome stick for the price, The hickory is very durable and lasts longer than other brands of sticks. Two, they have great feel and I have never had the nylon tip fly off when playing( unlike other sticks I have used) Three, They are made right here in the U.S.A. I just stocked up on a couple bricks and knowing this will be a busy year for playing, Im glad I have these Vic Firth Novas in my stick bag to keeping me rocking!! Chazz Michaels,..Pop Gun Rerun

Tama HP200PTW Iron Cobra 200 Double Bass Pedal

Smooth action

I have a few Tama pedals, top of the line. I bought this double base pedal because there are times I dont want to bring to kick drums two a show. I was very pleased with the action and how smooth the pedals felt. Speed was also not an issue, they are quick. I could have got the top of the line ,but for the price and other reviews I read about this double kick pedal, I thought it can't be a bad purchase.
