Very happy purchase
I was tired of filling my feeders everyday, esp. in winter. This feeder is well designed with great features and capacity for holding enough seed to last at least a week or more. It is well made and sturdy. The birds love it. No big birds can get in and no squirrels. It has a bottom part that pops off easily to release the bottom seed area so it can be cleaned out...you know where the seed usually gets clumpy and hard to clean out. Also the top lid has two metal clips to keep it secured when you are done filling It. Did I say it holds a lot? I put two gallons of seed in there and it still is not full. It is pretty heavy when full so you need a sturdy pole or place to hang it.

Sort of old batteries
When I ordered these I thought the date was 2023. Maybe I am wrong but once delivered it changed to 2020. I needed them for smoke detectors so was looking for newer batteries. I am using them, but will need to change them out in one year instead of two. Otherwise they came quickly, packed neatly and seem ok. My Yes rating was because perhaps it was my fault if it was 2020, but I seemed to remember 2023 date.

I bought this 20" feeder because I was tired of filling the usual feeders everyday, esp. in the winter. This one has been up for a week and is still 1/2 full, I do have other feeders, though, so the birds don't just use this one. What I like is I can easily see how much seed is in the feeder. The baffle keeps the rain off but is small enough not to catch the wind and blow the feeder so it hits the pole. I don't have a squirrel problem so can't say if it keeps them off. The lid is tight fitting. It is nice looking. With the baffle in the right spot it keeps the big hog type birds off also.
The baffle has to be assembled and is a bit tricky to get it on, but I was able to do it. My only reason for four stars and not five is that I wish it had more than four feeding ports around the bottom, maybe five or six. You could view more birds that way.
