Too Small
1 of 3 found this helpful You cannot fit three cups of rice in this 6 cup rice cooker. It will overflow when cooking. Bought this 6 cup rice cooker for my son and daughter in-law. My rice cooker is a 6 cup cooker and I can put in 3 cups of dry rice and get a large pot of rice. This cooker is very small and will not feed more than 2 people in my opinion. They have 4 children and have to cook 2 pots of rice whereas my 6 cup rice cooker would feed us all. I've purchased many 6 cup rice cookers like this one over many years and never had one that makes as little rice as this one. Maybe it's just black & decker that makes them like this. I don't know but will never buy a 6 cup black & decker. My son said it works fine but just way too small.
