Construction needs refinement.
This milk frother burns the milk which makes it difficult to clean. The milk frother makes too much foam, therefore, I can put about 1/3 cup of milk (not enough for an 8oz latte) otherwise it boils over. It is relatively inexpensive product but not efficient.

Electric kettle with a need of a baby sitter.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Bodum electric kettle. The old one was simple to use, had no knobs to turn on or off, and its function was effective. This newer version has been a disappointment. To begin with the kettle has to sit on an electric base to function. It has an attached lid that can't be taken out to fill the kettle with water. The lid opens only half way, therefore, if your water source is too strong, you have a mess. The lid does not allow the kettle to be filled from the refrigerator filtered water. The lid has a knob that has to be pressed to be able to open and close the lid. The kettle also has another knob that has to be slide for the kettle to start hitting the water. This knob not always works the first time and it has to be slide again to function. If you are not around the kitchen to hear the knob's click, you come back to find that the water has not boiled. In sum, this kettle has too many knobs to press when all you want is to plug a kettle that begins heating the water immediately.

A tiny but effective espresso coffee maker
Italians know how make coffee makers and this is a perfect example. The one-cup Bialetti espresso coffee maker makes enough coffee for one delicious cafe latte. The coffee maker has been perfectly designed so that the coffee doesn't splatter when pouring the coffee into your cup. Because the coffee maker is very small, I use a heat diffuser on my gas burner so that the handle can be held without the use of a pad. Before I bought a heat diffuser, I used a small cast iron frying pan to protect the handle of the coffee maker and my fingers from burning. Either tool works great.
