Awesome results for unconventional home install !
Dead plate amp in an older Boston Acoustics CR400 home sub and replaced with this monoblock connected to an ATX PSU to provide 12V DC power. I'm not expecting massive power as the original amp was only rated at 75W. Paired with an older Antec 520W PSU that puts up to 42A on a single 12V rail, and combined 10 +12V and 10 GNDs from the PSU to the amp. I'm sure will never drive that high at normal load and volume levels. Took some trial and error to connect the PSU to the orange LED switch to turn the PSU/amp/sub combo on and off when I cycle the AV Receiver. Small form factor of the amp was ideal, as needed to squeeze onto back of the sub. I don't know what kind of output I'm getting into the 8ohm 8" driver, but it sounds great! Theoretically should be ~200W, but likely lower. Clear sound and no distortion at the levels I listen to. Very happy with the results!
