Nice but with a major drawback
Nicer, thinner and softer than many other diver straps. The two keepers are the biggest drawback. They are pretty flimsy and difficult to use. One wider keeper would be perfect.

The original, high quality part
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the original strap for GW 5000 series of Casio watches. It’s made of nicer and more pliable rubber/plastic compound and it has a very nice matte finish that makes it look very dark gray. I wore one on my watch for 11 years before I replaced them due to deterioration. Over time they will lose their matte finish and become smoother , they will begin to crack and weaken due to exposure to sun, sweat and other elements. The GW 5000 watch, on the other hand will last you a lifetime; it’s practically indestructible. So it’s a good idea to get extra strap(s) and bezel(s). They are inexpensive compared to the price of watch. I wish, they were as durable as the watches themselves. But 11 years of very tough wear is pretty good in my book. Also, keep in mind that this strap
replaces the strap on GW 5000 B (negative/reverse dial model with black buckle and buttons), yet it only comes with silver buckle. Buckle can be easily replaced with the black one so don’t throw away your old GW 5000 B hardware when you’re replacing the strap and bezel; it can alway be reused.
