We tried it
Tool design was great! How did I ever cut bituminous roofing tiles before. It worked fine cutting Presidential roofing for about 20 linear feet. Then it over heated and blew a seal. We couldn't wait the two days for it to ship, so, Went to an auto body paint supply store and bought the same basic tool for about the same price. It lasted a few hundred linear feet and still works. To be fair, The Ridged was used when the tiles were a bit warmer. I think this put a lot of stress on the tool.

We like it and will keep it. We put Flame looking bulbs in it and like the mood it gives.
Unfortunately, we were told it was hand made in the USA and the stickers on the glass say "made in China". I guess they meant or should have said assembled in the USA not made in the USA.

Cuts straight, minimal chatter and lasted at-least as long as the expensive blades. Will buy again when I need another.
