12 years of misery over
1 of 1 found this helpful I shave fought with the keyless entry since my 2009 truck was new. I had to push the button numerous times to get the doors to finally unlock. Sometimes I had to use the key. I always blamed the lock module in the truck. Two dealers couldn’t find the problem. I bought these shells to see if the problem was in the pads. I took the new pads and installed them into my existing fobs. I now have two perfectly functional keyless entry buttons. Someone should sell just the pads. Oh, well, I have two new fob shells in case the old ones break. This was still a very inexpensive repair for a long-term frustrating problem. I hope this information solves similar problems for others in a shorter timeframe. The contacts on these new pads appear to be better than the original.

Save your dock
Nice length. Allows for hookup to a dock without wearing out the dock’s connection. If this wears out just replace it for far less than a dock.
