4 of 4 found this helpful These rifles are mass produced and there is only so much that can be done with fit and finish.The clips feed properly when you are very careful with the bolt and inserting the new ammo into the clip. Maybe over time the feed and clip rails will wear in and the feeding will improve. But on brand new guns, take a little extra time and care.

Savage extra clip
3 of 3 found this helpful made by savage so the fit is perfect! I have other guns that use clips and this is by far the best designed one made. The alignment is perfect and it feeds rounds like a regular box magazine. My two other guns, Browning and Winchester that have removeable clips both have feeding problems.
