good subject, slight content.
the book is very 'light weight' on film content (plot/ writer etc) .It is mostly film stills and comments from assorted friends/ actors and producers. I was expecting more.

potted biogs of many, (but not all) writers, some strange choices of subject.
It really comes down to the definition of 'pulp writers', there are entries for Barbara Cartland and Jacqueline susann..who as far as I'm aware were never published in pulp magazines. The is a modern reference also for Don Pendleton, who again was not published in magazines.
There is no entry foe Ed Mc Bain, who not only started in the pulps, but actually had his own titled magazine. the concise biogs included are good and the book is a fast reference to anyone interested in the genre, but sadly not a definitive guide..
