Installed on 2012 Honda TRX 400X
I was going for the blacked out look so this was perfect, quality and build are sick, the durability and strength are second to none. Anything Pro Armor builds is built to last and looks awesome. Great product, highly recommended.

A loud 60 watt!! Great for solo's onstage or at home
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my first Blackstar amp, I found one at a great price and bought it. I play through a DSL100H Marshall Tube head with a 4' 12' cab and wanted some thing lighter, tough built and tube powered over 40 watts. I was surprised how loud the HT Soloist 60 was, almost to much for one speaker when cranked, you get a lot of high end razor sharp tones, a compressed tight sound that cuts through for blazing solo's. You can use this amp with a variety of different cabinet models and a 412 cab gives it more Bass creating a chunky tone more suited for 60 watts of fire breathing tube tone. You can also run it straight into a mixer and get high volume tube punched tone at low volumes. The EQ options are great, easily shift between British and US inspired tone. Both style reverbs are great, Switchboard is also cool and the boost almost works as a third channel and is great for boosting solos. Most Lead guitar players will enjoy having this amp in there arsenal and matched with a couple or more effects pedals its a powerhouse. Both clean and distorted modes are really original, I do agree that Blackstar are creating there own style and are creating a new sound for Rock, Blues ,Metal and even Jazz. At the end of the day I think this Amp is a great for what I was wanting. The negatives are not many but there are a couple, The sharp ear piercing treble, Not nearly as loud on clean channel, and the gain level isn't quite as heavy as expected and the warranty was disappointing, but if its as durable as advertised the warrant shouldn't matter. A great stand alone amp but the true character is the possibilities, it works awesome with other gear!!

Clear Distortion!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Hear every note!!! Heavy built like a tank, easy to operate, pedal board friendly. The only thing that gets old as with most stompboxes is no ac adapter included and using other brands is always a risk. A 9volt Alkaline Battery only lasts 9 hours and that's a fortune of batt. power over the years. Even if some don't care to buy years of battery power and even if some don't care to use unadvised power supply, I do. For the money these pedals cost, they should always come with a power supply, some manufacturers have started having pity on there costumers I will be glad when they all do. if Until then whenever you buy any pedal be sure to check to check for a included power supply to prevent frustration, I bought a MXR ZW pedal it didn't come with no power at all and I couldn't even play it. Bummer.
