Great features in a small size
I've purchased these filters in the past, and they all work wonderfully. They're great for tanks with fry, betta, or any fish that doesn't do well in high-flow water. I have a single in a five gallon goldfish tank, and the water stays crystal clear with just a weekly water change and rinsing the filter monthly. To clean the filter, simply pull the sponge off the tube, squeeze/rinse it in the water from a water change and slide it back on. This will protect the beneficial bacteria that grow in it. You can use it for small-to-medium aquariums, increasing the number appropriately for the tank size. The filter can be adjusted for height, placement, and the direction of flow and sponge. Where the image shows thicker sections of black tubing, the filter can be turned for almost any configuration. It runs on air from your air pump, and can replace an air stone without needing an additional pump. They are very unobtrusive and quiet.
These filters are great as an emergency or quarantine filter. Just keep a spare one running in a back corner of your tank and you'll have a cycled filter ready to go when it's needed.

Good beading thread
Thread works great for beading. The cone costs more than the smaller spools, but the quality is much better as well as getting more thread for your money. Well worth purchasing.
