Oster Golden A5 Single Speed Clipper

Great quality.

We bought these for clipping our two dogs. It's definetely worth spending the money for these over the more "budget" home use clippers out there. The initial purchase price is higher, but you get massively better build quality, durability and blade selection. These also have the muscle to cut through thick coats without slowing down, clogging or pulling. These are means to be Profesional clippers and will essentially last a lifetime of you are using them for personal use. Would definetely buy again.

It's used OEM glass from Lexus...

It's used OEM glass from an early 90's Toyota product, of course it's top notch. Of note though, I'd way rather buy this that the crappy aftermarket replacements with no heater element that are on here...

Good value for dollar compared to some of the other chains on the market.

Superficially at least (I'm not going to try and cut it for the purposes of this review) it looks very strong and very well made. At this price-point, I'd way rather buy this than some of the other security chains out there that are 2-3 times the price. One thing to be aware of -- these things barely measure up to their measured length, so order longer than shorter if you're not sure.
