Disappointed with a happy ending...
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased this pre-owned pair of sunglasses listed with out specified defects. After opening the packaging it appeared the frames looked scratched/scuffed. I went back to the original listing and pictures to see if I may have missed that these were defective, which they were not listed as such after taking a second look. In looking closer at the frames, I noticed there was a thick layer of residue (unsure what the residue is/was) and that the scratches were actually on the residue which gave it the appearance of being pretty scuffed up. I've been taking Clorox wipes (probably not ideal, but it is helping) to remove the residue. Underneath the residue (as it is slowly coming off), it is starting to appear the frames may be in decent shape which leaves me relieved. Just taking a little time to get them cleaned up. Overall I believe these will be a good pair of shades with a little TLC.
