After I cleaned off the white paint spot...
After I cleaned off the white paint spots, the record was ready for play. Sounds pretty good. I will enjoy it for the future.

Good buy for the money
Nice timer. Great for setting day and night times, both on and off. I wish there was a good way to attach it to the light fixture. It is wired directly to the fixture, but the suction cups are useless and I am unsure if I want to chance drilling holes in the fixture to attach screws.
