Can be used as a replacement for the rare / non existant early 90's Mustang cap BUT........
The only thing is that you will need fill the complete inside of this cap with black silicone to mount it. Just wipe away the excess and there 'ya go. Fits the contours of a 98 Mustang fender perfectly....... and.... Your welcome ;-)

This is a really well made product with a wide base and the connector that plugs into your phone raises up or down for a custom fit.
