Great pick up / microphone!
The best way to mic your acoustic is with a condencor at the neck in front of the guitar. That's not always an option live cause you can get feedback easily and the volume is often too low. This is the best I've tried yet in an acoustic ! Price winning system.

Good, lasting strings
EXPs from D'addario are strings that last a long, long time thanks to de D'addario coating technology. And I love how they sound. They are not too bright (which I find Elixirs to be). They're just perfect and I've tried them on different acoustic guitars.
