3 of 4 found this helpful I'm not a gamer. Got the original Doom as shareware, or something like that on a PC Mag disk, I think. It was a ball. Busted a couple of joysticks on it. Use the key board now. Doom II is just more of the same kind of fun. The levels are equally entertaining, and there's always a different kind of challenge at the next level. I really like the rough pixelated look. It's amazing what creative imagination went into a classic shoot 'em up like this. It's the only one that I am familiar with, but it sure is easy to understand why it has a cultish reputation.

Solar Charger is a Gimmick
1 of 1 found this helpful can't get full charge with solar charging – couple of months in sun room window – doesn't provide sufficient charging to keep up with hearing aid daily usage on canoe trip – solar charger is more of a gimmick than a practical feature
