If you need a card reader, you should consider this keyboard.
My office has implemented single sign on with a smart card (our ID card) so when I work from home, I need a card reader. Laptop card reader became unreliable, so I picked up this dell keyboard with card reader. On first install it takes a LONG time to install the drivers, but after that, it's very reliable - and it's a good keyboard to boo!

Repair part, good value, quick shipment
A friend had an encounter with a deer that demolished the driver side mirror on her 1999 Volvo. I bought this one on eBay to replace it - quick 5 minute repair. Good value, quick shipment.

Industrial strength notebook computer
1 of 1 found this helpful My employer standardized on Dell notebooks years ago - largely because of durability and reliability. When my children needed notebook computers, my strategy was to buy one on EBay and build the system, usually replacing the hard drive, installing OS and applications. This model was particularly durable to standing up to my children, who are none too gentle with electronics. Easy to build, easy to fix, easy to get parts (batteries and optical drives).
