Best HF

Out of all the Sony HF formulations this one seems to be the best performer with the nicest cassette shell. These ones and the ones with the gold wrapper are the best.

Excellent!

This oval window is my favorite version of the UR. For a budget ferric it performs great, and this version with the blue on the wrapper has a full J-card. They certainly got the formula right on this tape, it's on the verge of being a super-ferric in my opinion. As with all ferrics, you do get some hiss on quiet passages, but that can be negated as they sound fantastic with Dolby B or C engaged. However, I used no noise reduction on the recording on tape in the picture, and it came out great.
