to buy or not to buy ..{eBay }
The MX8 AIS A GREAT pool cleaner, and these tune up kits are great at keeping your cleaner working at its optimum level. The only problem I have had is with the tracks, { this order only}, the inside guide on the track broke down in patches on both tracks ?, something that has never happened to me before . I have installed about 4 turnup kits, and about 8 sets of tracks. It was suggested that there may have been a problem with the gearing , but this was not the case, i replace the faulty tracks with a spear set I hade and has continued working well as before.
I brought this fault to the eBay shop were I bought the kit and was told that I would have to take it up with ZODIAC, I have done so and waiting for a reply from them. The only thing I find disappointing is that the eBay shop did not replace, and I hade to do all the chasing around , which has brought me to the conclusion that I may be better off buying this type of product from my local pool shop, were I would have been helped with a replacement straight away
