Great cameras but don't get solar charging if you want the camera to recognize sounds as events
I have the older wired version of the nest cam, which is what I would have purchased again if they still made them. I originally got solar panels because I'm not the kind of person to remember to take these down and charge them, but then I found out some features don't work with solar. Namely responding to sounds. Now I have plug in cords On the way. I want my cameras to recognize when my dogs bark. I wish that had been made more clear, I've done a lot of research on these cameras including on Google's website, and never read anything about that. I would have skipped the solar panels in the first place had I known.
