Nice light spinning reel
This is a very nice light spinning reel; it is my third NASCI. They are used for inshore fishing in Gulf Shores, AL, and work on anything from trout, reds, and flounder to sheepshead around cover, and the occasional large (30+ pounds) drum. I spray them with fresh water after every use, and have experienced zero problems. A very nice little reel with a very good drag, at a modest price. Great value!

Great reel
This is a great reel for bottom fishing for snappers, triggerfish, and small grouper. I love the light weight and balance, and the Shimano drag is smooth and effective. The fast retrieve is handing for quickly bringing an empty rig after issuing a fish, but has plenty of power.

Tekota
The Tekota has proven to be a solid reel for bottom fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. The level-wind is very helpful for guests and kids, but the reel has a very good drag and handles snapper, Cobia, and other fish we encounter without issues.
