Fast, but broke shortly after first use

Drive was making a clicking sound when I turned it on for the first time. About 2 week after I set it up, the drive failed and cannot be detected or initialized anymore (attempted to use the drive in a separate docking station to ensure that it was the drive, not the enclosure). Was fast and worked well prior to the drive failing. Not sure if it was shipping damage, factory defect, or just not taken care of prior to purchase.
