Great read for all steam train lovers
My husband found this book very interesting. He is a lover of all trains especially steam and history, so this item ticked several boxes. This book covers many aspects of the lives of those who worked and lived in the steam train era. There are lots of pictures, mainly black and white due to the period in which they were taken. There is a follow up to this called "more tales of the old railwaymen" which I shall be looking to buy. I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in the history of steam trains
